The Double Flanged Instant Removal Underground Support System

The strength of a bollard and looks are key elements which are both achieved by using a stainless steel post. However, it is what's underneath the bollard that makes our competitive difference. Our double flanged instant removal underground support system is what sets us apart from everyone else in the market.

This patent pending system gives our customers a total packaged system that will allow them to replace their system with a new bollard within minutes. A vehicle that makes contact with our units, regardless of speed or weight, will not harm the unit underneath the ground. Within minutes instant removal of the damaged bollard from ground level up can be achieved and a new bollard put into its place. Most crews can remove and replace our bollards in less than 30 minutes. Our two flanges are made of 4140 harden steel alloy which possesses tensile and yield strength necessary to withstand direct impacts. These flanges will not distort, bend or lose its shape even when the bollard gets damaged while in the upright position.

One only need to remove the (two) 1 (one) inch allen head protectors from the intermediate casing to insert and thread (two) 1 (one) inch eye bolts ninety degrees apart. When the eye bolts have been thread clockwise a ½ inch into the intermediate flange the entire bollard, intermediate surrounding casing with intermediate flange weighing 378lbs, will begin to rise up out of the large surrounding flanged housing. Once the intermediate flange has reached clearance of one inch the whole system can be pulled up and out of its housing. No other company can provide this kind of technology and ease of maintenance.

The ScopeLock Limited One Year Warranty

We provide a limited warranty for the period of one year from shipment of the ScopeLock unit and all equipment designated to function with this product. This includes the linear actuator and all equipment or any part of the equipment prove defective during the limited warranty period, we will repair or replace the defective part, free of charge, f.o.b. our plant or other location at our direction. Such action by us does not extend the limited warranty period. The buyer shall assume all costs, including labor and if necessary travel and living expenses if we are requested to perform the removal and installation of the replacement part(s). This limited warranty is contingent upon our being promptly notified of the defects and the Buyer establishing to our satisfaction that the defective part has been properly maintained in accordance with the factory owners operation manual which we have provided and that the equipment was operated within the limits of rated and normal usage.

This limited warranty has no application to consumable items such as O rings which are part(s) that are consumed by wear and tear with actual use or wear or damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, neglect, non-action, improper removable or reinstallation or the handling of new or defective parts, or lack of preventative maintenance, sabotage, tampering, fire, explosion or any other causes not directly attributable to defective part(s). Under no circumstances will we have any liability under this limited warranty for loss of use or for any other losses or damages sustained by the Buyer. Batteries will be purchased by the buyer and may vary in size and application and should be sent directly to the manufacturers that made them for adjustment or replacement.

This limited warranty excludes adjustment of switches, or alignment of O rings or alignment of parts that normally require aligning, as well as wires, loose connections, loose bolts, fuses, limit switches, or damage from incorrect power connections. This warranty does not cover the product in the cases of natural disasters caused by earthquake, flood, hurricane, volcano, fire, bombings or any type of nuclear damage.

This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchant ability or fitness for purpose or otherwise, express or implied in fact or by law, is or shall be applicable and expresses our entire obligation and liability with respect to said equipment. We neither assume, nor authorize anyone to assume for us any other obligation or liability with respect to the equipment or any part of the ScopeLock. We expressly disclaim all liability for damages or delays in the shipment or any replacement part, or from defects in, or failures or malfunctions of, the equipment or any part thereof.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. Except as provided herein, ScopeLock Security Systems, Inc. makes no express warranties and any implied warranties are limited in duration to the duration of the written limited warranties contained herein. Some states do not permit limitation or exclusion of implied warranties; therefore, the aforesaid limitation(s) or exclusion(s) may not apply.
